Man Sneezes Out Bullet After Being Shot In The Head

Man miraculously sneezes out a bullet that penetrated his temple…

An Italian man who was accidently shot in the face on New Year’s Eve has survived the incident basically unharmed after sneezing out the bullet.

Darco Sangermano, 28, was enjoying the New Year’s celebrations in down town Naples – a city where residents often fire guns with live ammunition to bring in the New Year – when a stray bullet went through his temple, behind his eye, and into his nasal cavity.

Shocked, confused and bloody, Sangermano was rushed to hospital for life-saving surgery. However, as doctors prepped him, Sangermano sneezed and out came the .22 caliber bullet.

With the bullet dislodged, Sangermano said the only discomfort he felt was a slight headache. Doctors still had to operate on him to clean up the wound and remove the bone fragments, but said they expect him to make a full recovery without losing sight in his eye.

He was a very lucky man, he could have been killed, Dr. Sid Berrone said. The bullet went through his temple, behind his eye, entered the nasal cavity and then became lodged in his nostril before he sneezed it out. Amazing. [Fox News]
