Lady Gaga sues for Baby Gaga...

Earlier this year international women of superstardom, Lady Gaga, threatened to sue British-based ice cream company for naming its line of breast milk ice-cream, Baby Gaga.

Boutique ice cream company, the Icecreamists, specialize in creating weird and wonderful ice cream combinations that are sold out of their hip London store. The breast milk ice cream, Baby Gaga, had been the company’s latest gimmick in its line of frozen desserts.

Lady Gaga Sues Over Icecreamists Breast Milk Ice Cream

The breast-milk ice cream was not meet with obvious controversy, but what many labeled as a cunning publicity stunt quickly backfired when the ice cream caught the attention of Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga claimed the name Baby Gaga used to label the breast milk ice cream had “ridden the coattails of her reputation”.

Icecreamists Boutique Ice Cream

Icecreamists owner Matt O’Connor defended his use of the name Gaga in an interview with The Guardian, by noting that the term has been around since ‘dawn of time’ and that she could not possibly claim ownership.

In response to Lady Gaga calling the breast milk ice cream a ‘nausea-inducing’ product, Connor criticized the superstar by saying:

“This from a woman with a penchant for wearing rotting cows’ flesh. At least our customers are still alive when they contribute to our ‘art’.”

Unfortunately for Connor, Westminster Council eventually confiscated all stocks of the ice cream claiming it didn’t meet hygiene standards.
