How To Control Your Acne

5 Tips on How to Keep Acne Free Face

  1. Do not prick the affected area with a needle, bare hands can also cause further irritation so picking and scratching is a definite no. Any undesirable microorganisms can cause acne to break out, so try to keep most objects away from your face. Use clean towels when washing and drying your face and try use a fresh pillow case when ever possible. Hair can also transfer microorganisms to your face; if you have long hair it’s a good idea to wear it in a bun or pony-tail.
  2. Avoid using oil-based products on your hair. Some products may say they are safe on the scale but when we sweat, the chemical-laden beauty product slides down to the face where it can seriously aggravate acne symptoms.
  3. Minimize the use of cosmetics over the pimple. It is alarming to know that although beauty products can conceal your pimple break out, it also increases the risk of infection.
  4. If you are using alcohol-based and oil-based facial wash or toner, taking a break can actually minimize the inflammation of the skin.
  5. Over-the-counter ointment can be bought from your local drugstore. Creams or ointments containing benzyl peroxide are popular and very good at combating acne. Same dermatologists recommend tretinoin-based products cream over the benzyl peroxide because of irritant threat of the peroxide content. Depending on how sensitive your skin is you can chose between to two.

If your acne is severe, a visit to your dermatologist is advised. They may prescribe you an oral antibiotic or possibly an adapalene gel. Close monitoring of medications is needed since like other prescription medicines it may cause allergies.

    Raza,

Dermatology offers numerous avenues of care and options for all different skin types and conditions. This means a consultation is best to diagnose which is the best treatment option at a price that is affordable for your budget.

If you are planning to visit Thailand, we can arrange a consultation for you to talk with a qualified dermatologist.

Maybe patients are amazed at what is possible with lasers and medication. However, some require multiple treatment sessions, so it is difficult to say which is best for you.

Not long ago I began experiencing acne breakouts on my chin. My dermatologist actually laughed at me being 35 and still experiencing acne. What’s a girl to do when her dermatologist laughs at her?

This determined girl took matters into her own hands and began a rigorous routine of research until I came across an oil-free (and chemical free) moisturizers and a line of organic products that I had not tried before.

I purchased a 2 ounce bottle of Made from Earth’s oil-free Rosehip & Hibiscus Face Serum and within days of using it, my chin had cleared up completely and I’ve not experienced any more breakouts as with some other moisturizers. Chock full of certified organic ingredients, 100% vegetarian ingredients, powerful antioxidants free of parabens, synthetics and petroleums, how could my skin not respond in a wonderful, healing way?

Since Made from Earth products are created with certified organic ingredients – they do no harm. Instead of the typical water base used in most product ingredients. While the Rosehip Serum works great, I have now moved onto the “Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer” which has really made my cheecks real rosy.

I recommend you start with the Made from Earth Rosehip Serum – and then once the acne is cleared up, use the Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer to maintain that great complextion. Good luck!

I am 11 years old. Currently at the stage where i get zits. Gettiong info from an 11 year old may not sound the best but trust me. Read on. I tried pro-active but i started getting a rash on my face, so of course i stoped usng it and went to my doctor. She gave me an artical to help me learn what to do and what not to do. ( it helped) But she told me to try the neutrogena face/body wash. And benzoyl peroxide. Then after 6 to 8 weeks all of it should clear up. I’ve been using it and all my acne is almost gone! and its only been 1 week! The peroxide may burn but its sooo worth it. You can find the face/body wash at a local drug store. But the peroxide you may have to ask your doctor about. I will leave another message soon to tell you if it works but it already is. Thank you.
    Love,
    Halie
